Teo Benson received accolades for his performance of Mozart’s Sonata in E-flat for Violin and Piano at the Island Consort Chamber Music Series concert with pianist, Sheila Weidendorf. It was not the first time that Mr. Benson has performed at the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts in Langley, Washington, but as the concert’s “guest artist,” his solo performance at the end of the program was memorable and extremely well received by the audience who were pleased to learn that such a talented violinist grew up on Whidbey Island!
